Good Sams found rings
On Dec. 4, somewhere in Benson, I lost my engagement/wedding ring set.
My husband and I returned to every place I had been and searched every parking lot of every business.
We placed an ad in the local paper and offered a reward for the return of my rings.
That evening we got a phone call that a close relative had passed away and we needed to go to Idaho for a funeral. We returned home late in the evening of Dec. 17, and the next afternoon, we recieived a call-someone had found my rings.
They had been calling several times a day, every day since they saw my ad in the paper.
This wonderful couple refused to take any reward. They are Pat and Billy Hines and I will be eternally grateful for their honesty.
This act of honesty and kindness confirms my belief that there are "good" people in the world. It's too bad that all of us don't follow the golden rule and live up to the 10 Commandments.
