With two games canceled last week due to weather, Bobcats' baseball Coach Steve Rennie said at least they got some competition beating Pusch Ridge.

Rennie said he was hoping the Bobcats would play Tombstone on Friday and Desert Christian on Saturday to get some work in before the season pulls into full swing this week.

Rennie said the Tombstone game will be rescheduled.

In the game against Pusch Ridge last Tuesday, Rennie said the Bobcats played well, winning a close one 7-6.

After three innings, the Bobcats were down 6-1, but staged a comeback in the fourth.

Kyl Graf led the Bobcats with two hits, a run and two stolen bases. New Bobcat Matt Wiley had an RBI, two stolen bases and two runs.

Tyler Moore was the winning pitcher, throwing a one-hitter in five innings.
