Dog Days of Summer
A day of family-oriented fun and excitement with special activities for youth and adults will be held Saturday, July 21 at Lions Park as First Assembly of God Church in Benson hosts Dog Days of Summer.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, sodas, games and amusements, including an 11foot high inflated waterslide and a jumping castle. There is no charge.
Activities are from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a concert featuring the Young Continentals. The Young Continentals consists of 35 members ranging in age from 12 to 16 years of age.
On Sunday, July 22, a "Summer Olympics Adventure," for children ages 3 to 12, will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., nightly through Wednesday, at First Assembly of God, 630 W. 5th St.
