Proposed Mescal Fire District public hearing set

A public hearing by the Cochise County Board of Supervisors will be held Tuesday, July 29 at 6 p.m. at Cochise College Benson Center regarding Mescal Volunteer Fire Department's intent to form the Mescal-J-Six Fire District.

The college campus is located at 1025 State Route 90 in Benson.

Comments for and against the proposed district will be entertained at this time.
