Railroad crossing closures announced
The City of Benson has received railroad crossing closures from Union Pacific Railroad personnel for the following locations:
Ocotillo Avenue to close at 6 a.m. on June 23 to 6 p.m. on June 26.
Patagonia Street to close at 6 a.m. on June 30 to 6 p.m. on July 3.
San Pedro Street to close at 6 a.m. on July 7 to 6 p.m. on July 10.
Benson Airport Road to close at 6 a.m. on July 14 to 6 p.m. on July 17.
For Benson Airport Road. the UPRR will create a bypass road. At the time of closure, the detour route will comply with Arizona standards and will be monitored through the duration of the closure.
