Community, Alumni Band grateful for support
On behalf of musicians of the year's 2009 Benson Alumni and Community Band, I wish to express thanks to those who made this year's 4th of July band possible.
A big thanks to CTI Trucking for providing a truck and driver again this year. We couldn't have done the parade without you.
Also thanks to Benson School District and Dr. Woodall and governing board for the use of the band room for our rehearsals.
Finally, thanks to Community Presbyterian Church for letting us use the hall as a gathering point before the parade.
This was the 21st year for the band to perform for the parade and a concert in the park. This community has truly some talented musicians, young and older, who made it possible to provide band music for the 4th of July.
