Archie Sutton and Lindsay Roberts are September's featured artists at Gallery of Dreams in St. David.
The two-dimensional mixed media wall hangings of Sunizona resident Archie Sutton reflect a contemporary, abstract approach. Sutton's featured collection includes iconic legends such as Jim Belushi and Jimi Hendrix as well as abstract mixed media copper pieces.
Three-dimensional metal artist and St. David resident Lindsay Roberts displays her "CurlyCu" copper jewelry and her most recent copper wall hangings.

Saturday, Sept. 19 is the deadline to submit entries for the VFW Golf Tournament on Sept. 26 at San Pedro Golf Course, 926 Madison in Benson.
Four-person scramble with 8 a.m. shotgun start. Cost $45 per person and includes golf, cart, meal and prizes, along with [$10,000 hole-in-one contest] compliments of Freedom RV.

A women's interdenominational Bible study will meet Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., beginning Sept. 16, at First Baptist Church, 983 S. Ocotillo Ave. Child care available for children age 2-5.
Study is on the book of Daniel with Beth Moore.
Bible study for men and women will begin Monday, Sept. 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. There is no child care available during this study group. Classes for women and children will begin Wednesday, Sept. 16. Nursery available for babies, and preschool-age children 2 to 5, with monitored study room for home-schooled students.

Easy level round dancing is coming to Benson: Lessons are being offered on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Cochise Terrace RV Resort, one mile south of exit 302 off I-10 on Route 90 in Benson on the west side of the highway.

Butterfield quilt show
Butterfield Stage Days quilt show, hosted by the art and quilt gallery at 267 E. 5th St., is putting out a call for quilts.
Organizers will be setting up the show in Lions Park Oct. 10 during Butterfield Stage Days. Quilters who would like their quilts in that display, should stop by the gallery Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or call 586-9313. There is no charge. A quilt, which can be seen at Cowgirl-Up Quilts, will be raffled. Tickets are on sale at the gallery.

Benson Museum is open again with plenty of changes including a new research library and revamped gift shop. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
