At a reception for the Members Open exhibition at The Tubac Center of the Arts, a work by San Pedro Valley resident Bernard Fierro was awarded Best of Show. It's title is "Oracle Stones" and the media is torn paper collage, made from paper designed by the artist and applied to paper mounted on a board. The size is 24" by 36" The exhibition runs until Oct. 11 in Tubac. Fierro is represented locally at Gallery of Dreams, 245 E. Patton [Highway 80] in St. David, owned by Tim and Karen Trask.
