Lt. (USCG) Steven Alexander Macias

Steve Macias received a direct commission to the United States Coast Guard with the rank of Lieutenant. He was sworn in and administered the oath of office by his brother, LCDR (USN) Andy Macias at the Fray Moot Courtroom, University of St. Thomas, Minn. Steve and wife, Teri, are presently in Bristol, R.I. where Steve is attending the Naval Judge Advocate General (JAG) School prior to a permanent assignment. Steve is a former member of the Arizona and Minnesota National Air Guards, Benson High School graduate, and he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Arizona State University in Tempe and a Juris-Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, Minn.
