Kyle Graf scored the game-winning touchdown with 5 seconds left in regulation to help lift the host Benson Bobcats past rival Willcox 34-27 Friday in prep football action.
The victory earned Benson its third consecutive Class 2A East Region title, and assures the Bobcats a top five seeding in the upcoming state championship playoffs and at least one home playoff game.
Improving to 9-1, the Bobcats also earned the right to keep the Seney-Lohman Trophy awarded to the winner of the rival schools.
The Bobcats entered the contest slightly ahead in state power point rankings with 62.7 points to the Cowboys' 62.2.
