St. David lifters fare well

Lifters: Weightlifting Coach Donald Clay Judd recently took four St. David junior lifters to the World Bench Press and Dead Lift Championship competition in Nevada.

Christa Judd won state records and first place bench pressing 99 pounds. She also won first place and state records dead lifting 192 pounds.

Brianne Judd placed first and won state records bench pressing 115 pounds and dead lifting 203 pounds. She was the best girl lifter and world champion in her age group.

Payton Haymore bench pressed 77 pounds and dead lifted 164 pounds and won first place and set state records.


Kade Haymore competed in the 12-13 year old boys group. He bench pressed 132 pounds and came in first place. Kade dead lifted 231 pounds and came in second place and set state records.
