Dallas Memorial Hope Fund event a success
The Dallas Memorial Hope Fund had another successful event at the Cochise Terrace Barn on Feb. 20. We would like to thank Paul Teza for the wonderful seven-tier cake he donated for the event, Bill Flower for emceeing the event, The Flatcaps for donating their time and talent for the entertainment, and The Social Registry for their outstanding food and service.
We thank Tommie Teel for her wonderful slide show presentation about the fund and the people and animals it helps. We also thank Arnold's Flowers for donating the flowers for each table and Benson Animal Hospital for sponsoring the event.
There were many local artisans who contributed beautiful arts and crafts to the silent auction. Many restaurants and businesses also contributed generously to the silent auction including:
Arnold's Flowers, Reb's Caf/, Benson Donuts, The Candy Station, Giddy Up N' Go, Espresso, Gracie's Station, Safeway, Wal-Mart, Cowgirl Up Quilt Shop, Benson Police Department, Subway Sandwiches, Turquoise Hills Golf & RV.
We also thank all who helped put the event together including Clement Scott, Penny Dixon, Eileen McCann, Thelma Tyler, and all my staff at Benson Animal Hospital. And especially, we thank all of you who attend the event. You make it the success that it is!
