Butterfield Plaza owner killed
Thelma Grimes/San Pedro Valley News-Sun
A pilot killed in a plane crash near Chandler on Friday has been identified as Naziruden [Nazy] Hirani, a businessman and owner of Butterfield Shopping Plaza in Benson.
Reports say Hirani was flying a WWII-era plane when he lost control and crashed into a hangar at Stellar Air Park. The plane immediately caught fire, killing the 54-year-old Hirani.
Investigators continue to search for cause of the crash.
Besides owning Benson's largest shopping center, Hirani had been suing the city and Mayor Mark Fenn for more than $4 million.
The dispute started more than a year ago when the city ordered the owner of Hirani Oil Arizona, a sales and property management company, to bring the aging building up to code.
Hirani claimed he lost business and clients over the bad publicity, filing a lawsuit saying Mayor Fenn benefited by getting tenants in his own building.

" Nicholas,
With the infinite number of things that can go wrong in the cockpit, an actual pilot knows to never second guess another after a tragedy. I therefore conclude you are not a pilot. And if by some wildly remote chance you are a pilot and not some kid with his joystick in his hand, you are more lucky than good. Regardless, you are a fool.

I did not fly over US (for good reason), and now I'd say " I'm really lucky".
Here, in US everybody thinks that he can fly......and we can see clearly the result.
I got my ATP License in former USSR...and it was really difficult to get in the aviation business. Those who got into the aviation during that good old time are still alive, so make your own conclusion. "
