The Cochise County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate an armed robbery that occurred last week at the Quick Pic Market in Mescal.

Carol Capas, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman, said authorities are seeking new leads into the June 29 incident.

Capas said they received report of the robbery at around 1:30 a.m. The report said, "Deputies responded to the area and met with a store clerk who advised that he was standing immediately outside of the store when he was approached by two white male subjects with pantyhose covering their heads and armed with paint ball guns. The clerks advised that the male subjects forced him back inside of the store before spraying him in the face with spray paint, ordering him to lie face down on the ground while they took an undetermined amount of cash from the register and numerous cartons of cigarettes."

The suspects were seen leaving the area, located just north of Interstate 10, in a four-door white sedan.

The clerk was uninjured.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery can contact the Sheriff's Office at 1-800-362-0812.
