Pomerene Parent teacher Organization invites the public to its Scholastic Book Fair Tuesday, Aug. 24 through Friday, Aug. 27 at Pomerene School, 1396 Old Pomerene Rd. Fair is open daily 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call Tammi Welker at (221-9262 or email to tammilw@msn.

DRAGOON

The Amerind Foundation Museum, located one mile off I-10 exit No. 318 between Benson and Willcox is now a partner in the Blue Star Museum program. With 700 other nationwide museums partnered with the National Endowment for the Arts, free admission is offered to active military personnel and their families (up to five members) from Memorial day through Labor Day 2010. Families can visit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Call 586-3666 or go to www.amerind.org for information.

WEDNESDAY, Aug. 18, Cochise School, 10 a.m. to noon.

Dragoon water tower, 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
