Foot stompin' fun at Coronado Vineyards

Published: Tuesday, August 24, 2010 8:08 PM CDT
Always wanted to know what it was like to stomp around in a barrel of grapes? Now is your chance. No stomping experience necessary.

Awarding winning Coronado Vineyards 4th Annual Grape Stomp is happening Saturday, Aug. 28.

A day full of festivities features live music, food and of course wine tasting. It's a chance for a firsthand experience in winemaking. Coronado is looking for a few great feet at the event.

Bring the whole family for this festive Italian tradition. Adults are $10 and includes a souvenir wine glass, all the grapes you can stomp, and a tasting of all current releases. Children are the best stompers. The local Tucson band "The Grind' will perform live. The grind plays a wide variety of music featuring classic rock, funk with undertones of alternative and country.
