Garlic Festival was 'first-rate event'

Published: Tuesday, September 7, 2010 6:24 PM CDT
The Garlic Festival was such fun! What an excellent turnout - estimated at more than 1,000 - people attended. One gentleman came from Sedona. Many others from Tucson. The food, the music, the performances, the atmosphere, the setting, the camaraderie - everything was just a joy!

This inaugural event drew a fine caliber of folks and it is the Children's Ranch's great privilege to be selected by Triangle T as a place to invest a portion of its proceeds.

And, my fellow Bensonites, ATKHCR is not the only one to benefit from Triangle T's annual Garlic Festival.

The Benson business community will be favorably impacted as well when the out-of-towners head this way next year with their sights set on the rocks and garlic of the Dragoons. In fact, some of those first-time visitors plan on visiting before the next Garlic Festival. I bet they'll love Benson as much as we do.

Thank you Triangle T for a first-rate event. See ya next year, if not before.
