The Benson Bobcats dropped their second consecutive game Friday, falling to host Arizona Lutheran Academy 49-14 in prep football action.
"Arizona Lutheran Academy is a good football team, and when you have mistakes against a good football team it usually hurts more," commented Benson Head Coach Chris Determan. "We need to be able to overcome adversity when it happens in a game. We played better and more relaxed in the second half."
The Bobcats scored six first-quarter points but trailed 21-6 at the end of the first period and 42-6 at the end of the first half. The Bobcats scored eight points in the third quarter and ALA scored seven third-quarter points to cap the scoring.
