Photography Exhibit, Sale: The San Pedro River Arts Council’s Photography Exhibit and Sale is currently on display and runs through Oct. 30 at Cochise College Benson Center, 1025 AZ 90. The exhibit boasts more than 200 works representing professional, amateur and youth photographers throughout southeast Arizona. Indoor Yard Sale: The Benson Lions Club is holding an indoor yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the club, 599 S. Dragoon St. Proceeds benefit Lions’ projects.

Benson Historical Museum: The new mastodon tusks exhibit, on-loan from the U of A Paleontology Dept., is a “knock-your-socks-off, can’t-miss” addition to the museum’s Curtis Flats Prehistoric Mammal Bones Exhibit, notes Museum Director Judy Lee. The exhibit joins an 1800s era parlor exhibit belonging to Andrew Jackson Ritter, a Tombstone undertaker, along with the DeGrazia art exhibit.
