BENSON — With chief executive staff and team members in attendance, Community Partners Integrated Healthcare kicked off a new era Thursday.
Before business and community stakeholders and members of the public, CPIH unveiled a newly renovated facility Thursday in a grand reopening and ribbon cutting at its location at 500 S. Hwy. 80.
“We had a great turnout,” said Tanisha Castilaw, CPIH Southern Region Director, who oversees the facilities in Benson, Sierra Vista and Safford.
Formerly Arizona Counseling and Treatment Services, CPIH offers “... varying levels of care from low acuity to high acuity, with multiple diagnosis’ ” for adults and children, Castilaw noted. “We offer counseling, therapy, both individual and family, substance abuse treatment, wellness services, family support, case management, domestic violence classes, CBT, DBT, and an array of groups to meet the needs of the community. Because we are just reopening, we want to know what the community needs are and meet those needs. We also have an integrated clinic so we have a PCP onsite. So not only do we address a person’s mental health but their physical health as well.”
The extensive renovation to include interior painting new flooring and a more professional decor provides much needed luster, she said.
