BENSON — There will be more than enough Homecoming Hijinks to go around next week at Benson High School with a full slate of events scheduled.

The PowderPuff game will be held Monday, Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. and will help get Spirit Week underway. The bonfire, which is open to the public, will help cap off Monday’s festivities in the overflow parking lot adjacent to the football field parking lot.

Tuesday is Lights Out in the McGlumphy-Wilson [old] Gym with the Friday Homecoming Parade at 1 p.m. Longtime resident and retired educator Dan Barrera is the Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal. The Homecoming Game at 7 p.m. between the host Bobcats and the Bisbee Pumas helps cap off Homecoming Week.

The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned at halftime of the game with the Homecoming Game Dance to be held at the conclusion of the football game.
