Benson Historical Museum: The Benson Museum is beginning the new Fall Season on Sept. 1, with three new exhibits as well as 12 permanent exhibits. The Museum is seeking volunteers to help in several areas. Docents are needed to help conduct tours, one four-hour shift per week. Volunteers are also needed in the office and for facility maintenance. A few hours a week will enable the facility to better serve the community. The museum is also seeking new members. USMC/Legion breakfast: The Marine Corps Detachment and Legion Riders Are hold their monthly breakfast on the first Saturday monthly, Sept. 7, 8 to 10 a.m., serving biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, coffee or juice. Cost is $6.
