Ronald Duane Stutz

Ronald Duane Stutz passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019. Born Nov. 3, 1930, in Vista, Calif., he spent six years in ROTC and Navy Reserve plus four years active duty in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Las Vegas (Nev.) High School in 1948, later attending Pima (AZ) Community College to complete an Associate of Arts degree.
Duane worked for the Tucson (AZ) Fire Department for 25 years, retiring as a Captain in 1985 and moving to Benson, Ariz. He was an avid RVer. Duane is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Bernice June Stutz (1933-2005).
He leaves his wife Alice Virginia Stutz; two daughters, Alyce Pennington of Tucson, Ariz. and Lois Ann Shoaf of Vail, Ariz.; and one brother, Jerry Graf of Delaware. Memorial Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 2300 W Calvary Lane, on Saturday, 10 Aug., 11 a.m.
