BISBEE — A former Cochise County Jail chaplain accused of sexually assaulting six female inmates pled guilty Thursday to several sex crimes and kidnapping charges, offenses that will send him to prison for 15 years, attorneys said.

BISBEE — Douglas Packer has resigned as jail chaplain for the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, a position he held since 2012 until he was placed on leave in January following his arrest for alleged sexual misconduct with several female inmates.
