BISBEE — Douglas Packer has resigned as jail chaplain for the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, a position he held since 2012 until he was placed on leave in January following his arrest for alleged sexual misconduct with several female inmates.

BISBEE — The longtime Cochise County jail chaplain arrested earlier this month for alleged sexual activities with two female inmates is now facing 27 new charges involving his conduct with four other inmates.
