ST. DAVID — The Tigers at St. David High School open the 2019-20 season on Tuesday, Dec. 3 in a home game with Fort Thomas.

St. David, under the guidance of coach Nathan Richardson, were set to open the season Tuesday at Tombstone however that game was cancelled. Following the season opener with the Mustangs, the Tigers are in the Benson Holiday Tournament and will face Sahuarita on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 4 p.m.

Three homes games follow for the Tigers on Dec. 9 against Baboquivari, Dec. 10 against Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind and Dec. 12 against the Immaculate Heart Knights. Each game is set for a 7 p.m. tip.

Following the three-game home stand, St. David will take part in the Eastern Arizona College Boys’ 57th Annual Holiday Tournament underway on Dec. 16.

The Tigers will look to build on last season’s 13-12 overall and 9-4 section record. The first scheduled meeting between St. David and river-valley rival Benson is on Jan. 7 at Benson.
